Jim Colwill, DVM, Long Beach Veterinarian
Doctor Colwill was born in southern California and raised outside Philadelphia. He moved to Long Beach for his undergraduate studies and attended both Long Beach City College and Cal State Long Beach. He moved back to the east coast for vet school, completing his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. The sunny skies of SoCal called him back to Long Beach! He completed an internship at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Torrance with a heavy focus on emergency medicine.
Doctor Colwill enjoys urgent and emergent medicine and the human animal bond. In his free time he enjoys SCUBA diving and photography. He is excited to introduce his team to the community and show Long Beach how much we care about your pets.

Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a mom to two cockatiels named Lily and Hima and two chihuahua mixes, Pine and Chewie. I studied evolution and wildlife conservation at UC Davis. My interests outside of work include digital art, bird watching, video gaming, and hiking with my dogs.

Hello, my name is Victoria! I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University in 2025. Back home, I have an Australian Shepherd named Archer and a cat named Clementine. My ultimate career goal is to further my education and become a veterinarian. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, cooking, and going to the beach.

Hello, I'm Bella! I have a thirteen year old dog named Pixie and a three year old crested gecko named Toothless. I have been working as a veterinary assistant since 2023. My role at LBAUC is to assist with diagnostics and treatments to better the health of our four-legged friends. I am interested in furthering my career in veterinary medicine by becoming a registered veterinary technician. My hobbies are reading and making fun crafts.

Hello my name is Clarisa and I am a Veterinarian Technician, who is soon to be a Registered Veterinary Technician here at LBAUC. I've been providing compassionate care to our furry community since 2016 and am passionate about anesthesia monitoring, administering necessary treatments, and comforting nervous patients during exams. Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending quality time with my 3 cats and 2 dogs and snorkeling during the summer.
